Stella is an architect with her education in master's and bachelor's degrees and subsequent professional training entirely in architecture. Her inspiration for her artworks was mainly from the therapeutic quality of intuitive painting, a technique introduced to her in an art therapy course which she attended during the covid-19 period. Since then, her passion for abstract art was ignited, as she found that abstract art allowed for greater freedom of expression and pure aesthetic pursuit, comparing to the more realistic and radical forms of art and architecture. In her paintings, she strives to escape from any recognizable forms and reality, creating an expressive realm of its own with pure thoughts, ideas, impressions, feelings and emotions.
