Chapur

Susana Soria Chapur, born in the city of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, in 1987. Attracted by drawing and painting, she has a post graduate degree in art history at the Eastern University of her city. She is linked to the Luis Diaz Oduardo workshop in the engraving specialty where she specializes in the techniques of colography and lithography. She ventures into painting where she applies traditional engraving techniques on large format canvases and other supports. She is interested in mural art by participating in the InterNos Wall Painting Biennial for several consecutive years, also making his own large-scale mural creations independently. She has held more than a dozen personal exhibitions and more than fifty collectives national and international. She participated in the Graphik Engraving Biennial, National Colography Contest Belkis Ayon and International Salon of the Caribbean obtaining awards and recognitions for her work. She currently lives and work in the city of Miami, Florida.
