Svetlana Sinitsina (Svetla)

Hunting for that gleam and air… looking to inhence state of
“to rest and contemplate”.

I moved to Montreal about 20 years ago. Worked as a street artist, later as a
graphic artist and designer in fashion industry, creating motives for textile.
Studied art at Saint Petersburg Stieglitz state Academy of Art and Design (diploma) and different privet and state art studios.
I am in love with historical stones, I feel an urge to capture light of them,
they are fragile and disappearing.
I merge several old styles as my heart and eye tells me.
Wonder surrounds us, I want to keep in my way.
My brilliant teachers told me: “don’t force nature, don’t try to make it braighter or more subtle than it is, just follow it…”
Long life to old stones, and light, and shadows.
