Wei is an independent illustrator based in Vancouver, BC. He works digitally and draws on paper with ink brushes. Many of his illustrations integrate the negative space to achieve a figure-ground reversal effect. As an immigrant from Taiwan, he sometimes draws inspirations from his East Asian heritage and apply them in his visual storytelling.
