Taken Circa 1983, Montreal. The photographer spent many months recording the people who worked on the streets and local markets. The way the people in the image engage and pose shows that the artist had developed a relationship with the them. The pose is an essential element to express that these people are not anonymous.
Film processed and printed in the artists wet traditional darkroom in archival quality on Fibre Based paper. The artist has now closed down her darkroom and no longer processing silver gelatin prints. These are the only images remaining. Last printed 2008 on 11"x14" silver gelatin paper. Unframed.
