Irina Laskin

Irina Laskin, innovative, contemporary fine artist, designer is known for creating captivating works, which are full of energy.

Her creative process begins with sketching her composition, and then using a combination of acrylic and oil, along with other mediums to build up texture and depth. Working in different styles she never replicates exactly what she sees, but she strives to translate elaborate curves and graceful creases to express her passion of geometric intricacy

She always was attracted to vibrant colours, textures, and unconventional imagery.

Before forging a successful career as an artist, Irina studied Architecture, Design, and Fine Art at Kharkov, Ukraine, where her passion for painting and design began.

Through her studies she received intensive classical art training that directed her strong expressive style and exposed her to the stylistic influences of such movements as Impressionism, Cubism, and Art Deco.

Transforming these styles for contemporary life she creates a unique combination where the viewer has the freedom to assume their own interpretation of the composition.

After many years of balancing her professional career and endeavor of becoming an artist, she decided to end her career in architecture and devote all her time to creating art by expressing her passions to colour and form.

Over the last two decades Irina has been featured as one of the “Top 60 Masters of Contemporary Art” in the Art Tour International magazine, finalist of the Emerging Soul Award at the World Contemporary Artist awards, published in “Art in America” annual guide(2020-2021). Her works can be found in private collections around the world and been exhibited in Europe, USA, and Canada.
