I was born into this world without understanding, without remembering where I came from and will go. I felt the pain of the earth, the weak, and the animal.
And it was only by understanding the transcendental wisdom of initiation that I found hope and strength. Today, I put my art at the service of the deep knowledge implied by the relationships of chakras, virtues, and emotions through my experience and senses.
A pictorial narration of a spiritual experience does not conclude in words, and it figures at the beginning of a path to explore painting, color, and transparency.
I am a 40 years old Latin woman. In Colombia, I had the chance to work with many violence victims and people living in poverty conditions. Teaching in this environment has taught me how important art and education can be to reconnect people and help build a healthier society. My life has developed three essential faces: as an Artist, a Teacher, and a part of society.
My current art project is a creative-research (defined according to Ballesteros Mejía & Beltrán Luengas, 2018) that intends to
balance history and the present, taking new techniques to draw old legends inspired by Canadian indigenous beliefs. To boost this late research, I did the drawings of the color of the energy provided by the human body, artwork that I presented in an exhibition at Bogota in 2015.

Yo vine a nacer en este mundo sin comprender, sin recordar de dónde vengo y a dónde iré. Sentí el dolor de la tierra, el débil y el animal.
Y sólo al comprender la sabiduría trascendental de la iniciación encontré esperanza y fuerza. Hoy, pongo mi arte al servicio del conocimiento profundo que suponen las relaciones de los chakras, las virtudes y las emociones a través de mi experiencia y mis sentidos.

La narración pictórica de una experiencia espiritual no concluye en palabras, y figura en el inicio de un camino para explorar la pintura, el color y la transparencia.

Soy una mujer latina de 40 años que ha dedicado su vida a la enseñanza. En Colombia, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con muchas víctimas de la violencia y personas que viven en condiciones de pobreza. Enseñar en este entorno me ha enseñado lo importantes que pueden ser el arte y la educación para reconectar a la gente y ayudar a construir una sociedad más sana. Mi vida ha desarrollado tres caras esenciales: como artista, como profesora y como parte de la sociedad.

Mi actual proyecto artístico es una
investigación creativa (definida según Ballesteros Mejía & Beltrán Luengas, 2018) que pretende
equilibrar la historia y el presente, tomando nuevas técnicas para dibujar antiguas leyendas inspiradas en las creencias indígenas canadienses. Para impulsar esta investigación tardía, realicé los dibujos del color de la energía que proporciona el cuerpo humano, obras que presenté en una exposición en Bogotá en 2015.
