Lynn Saint-Onge Weiner

Lynn is originally from the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Like many artists, art has been a part of her life since childhood and her first passion was drawing animals (one of her first artistic influences was Robert Bateman). From 1987-2014, Lynn lived in Southern California, doing commissioned work of people and pets in pen and pencil. In 2014, she relocated to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, an area she visited many times and loved. There she began to paint full-time, incorporating more landscapes in her work.

Working with acrylics, Lynn produces highly detailed and realistic paintings, using multiple thin layers of colour to build shapes and enhance the perception of three-dimensionality. Her work is inspired by her community, nature, and the people around her.
