The Path of Consciousness - 3D Sculpture presented at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2021
The artwork “The Path of Consciousness” is a sculpture made in 3D on a monumental scale, where people walk on the water (an allusion to the miracle of Jesus Christ) over a 100-meter-long walkway, and finally to get into the sculpture. Designing a sculpture like this is being able to access images from a dream.
Elements and Fragments - National Museum of Natural History and Science of Lisbon - 2019
In 2019 I was invited to exhibit at National Museum of Natural History and Science of Lisbon. I created an Installation named “Elements and Fragments”.
The one-ton sculpture made of Corten Steel was set up in the museum's inner courtyard, where visitors could walk among the sculpture's fragments. Elements in Fragments represents the fragmented whole. In 2019, when I designed this installation, it seems like I was guessing what would happen in the world. It was a moment of jumping into the future. Because the topic seems very current with the latest events in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, and also the war between Russia and Ukraine.
