'forgotten'
One of my surreal Fine Art Photography works 'forgotten', was recently featured in a promotional video, for this awesome site 'Arto Galleria'. Great Thanx to them!
So I thought I would give some background, on the creation of this work, and where the concept came from.
It wasn't until after the image was created, that I figured out where it came from, and the story behind it. Back in my 20's, I was waiting for a bus, one snowy quiet evening, at the local transit station. It was about midnight, and I appeared to be the only person waiting for this bus, as large snowflakes floated to the ground on this peaceful night. As I waited on the covered tunnel platform, and watched the snow float to the ground, a young woman came up the stairs to where I was waiting. Although I don't remember her facial features, I do recall her looking to be in her 20's. She walked right up to me, and we began to chat. She seemed to know me, even though I know we had never met before.She told me of my life, and what was ahead for me in this life, although the details of that conversation I really cannot remember. Which is where the title for this work came from 'forgotten'. After about 15 minutes of talking with her, she wished me well, turned, and walked away through the entrance to the bus tunnel. As she exited, she disappeared into the falling large snowflakes. Wanting to know more, I ran to the exit towards where she vanished, however, she was gone, never to be seen again.
So bottled up inside of me remains the memory of her, 'blinded' by the recollection of what was said. Blending and vanishing into the peaceful falling snow. i know she was my Guardian Angel. I search everyday to recall her message to me. May we meet again! xo FM

Hi All You 'Art Lovers', I just want to start by thanking Arto Galleria for creating such an amazing site for artists and photographers to get their work out to the World. Such a beautiful home to reside in!
A long story short- I have been in the art/photography field for over 40 years, and have found my niche. My love for the female form and classic paintings has brought my style to it's creation. Add a passion for the works of Salvador Dali, and you might get some works which would be considered surreal in nature. The question in my thinking has always been...'What if?' So have a good look into the ever growing body of work I am offering to share with the world, and take some time to read into each and every piece. you will find it goes a lot deeper than you originally thought, but the answer lies within.
