The Uath Lochans are a group of four small lochs glimpsed through the pines of Glen Feshie in the Cairngorms of Scotland.

The Gaelic name 'Uath Lochans' means the 'hawthorn small lochs'. A 'lochan' is a small loch. For a non-Gaelic speaker the pronunciation is 'Wah Lochans' but you can find how the locals say it online.

Mixed media collage on archival paper using acrylic paint on acid-free tissue paper and highlights of conté crayons. Each piece of paper is coated on both sides with a layer of Golden soft gel medium. The picture has been given a final layer of protection with Golden UV satin varnish.

Signed on the front and on the reverse with description and title.
