About the work

This painting makes strong visual statement combining a segmented of reflected light in the Berkeley marina superimposed over what appears to be a white square with a black square in the center. But in reality is nothing more than black and white stripes and a black square. The segmented reflection has been greatly enlarged to create an effect abstraction yet something more. The overal all effect is a dynamic, an illustion perhaps a floating landscape and a secondary shape of square with a square hole. It would be a welcome addition to any home.
